In 2010 the curtain will rise for the very first time on the most elaborate model theatre ever created, a meticulous and extraordinary recreation of the Royal Opera House in London.
Far more than just being a beautiful hand-crafted scale model of this world-renowned auditorium, the Miniature Opera will also be a genuine working theatre in every other respect too. In fact, even more incredibly, we will actually be able to stage entire performances of popular highlights from the great operatic works using a unique holographic system to project a cast of characters onto the stage.
This site will document the unfolding story of how we achieve it.
