Fibre-optics
One of the key technical considerations of the project is how to produce a really sophisticated and extensive lighting rig - an absolutely essential ingredient if we are to present wholly convincing productions.
However, making an accurate working miniature of a stage lantern of sufficient brightness and which can be both colored and focussed isn’t easy. Our solution is to use fibre-optic cables to deliver individually controlled RGB color mixable light sources to each model lantern.
In order to achieve this ambitious goal we underwent a long process of research, testing different kinds of lights from numerous manufacturers all over the world. In the end we found the perfect solution - a range of fiber-optic fittings which have been developed for museum and exhibition display lighting.
More details will be released about these products in the near future.
