Opening production
The Miniature Opera will open its doors for the first time next year with the world premiére of 'Phantoms at the Opera' - a stunning compilation of operatic highlights from some of the most famous classical works of all time including La Traviata, La Bohéme, Les Pêcheurs de Perles, Aida, Madama Butterfly and Nabucco.
As the title suggests, some of the greatest operatic stars of all time will appear in the roles that brought them world recognition. Through the magic of modern special visual effects we will once again be able to enjoy recreated performances from Luciano Pavarotti, Maria Callas, Enrico Caruso, Dame Nellie Melba, Joan Sutherland and Placido Domingo.
The idea behind this extraordinary new production is to create an operatic experience that will appeal to different people of all different ages - not just seasoned opera lovers. A truly magical introduction to the world of opera and a rare glimpse 'behind the scenes' to reveal a genuine working theatre in action.
